I have successfully caught up on sleep since our all night shoot this past Monday morning.  After setting up at about 1:00am at a restaurant/bar in Manhattan, we shot for the next seven hours.  Hopped up on way too much coffee and red bull, the cast and crew maintained the great form we took just hours before.  Setup, logistics, camera, lighting, sound, set, costumes, script, and even extras seamlessly worked together to create more of the same success to which we have started to grow accustom.

TJ, DC, and Molly delivered spot on performances.  Again, almost every take was an exercise in the entire crew hoping it would end soon so we wouldn't have to keep holding in laughs.  I even lost it in the middle of a take once, and we had to do another one.  I know, I ruined everything.  I am a horrible human being.  DC Pierson came in for just this scene and NAILED his character.  It was so fun to watch he and TJ improvise take after take after take.  Everything they said was just so funny.

I've seen the footage, and again, it looks gorgeous.  Aside from being incredibly funny (we wrote a good script, but the cast is just knocking it out of the park - a really huge park with walls that are way farther than a normal park; almost like two parks, but with one home plate), I haven't seen a non-film short that looks so pretty.  We have successfully created a style that is not often scene in comedies - one with particular attention paid not only to the comedy but also to the aesthetics.

I could not be happier with how well the weekend went.  Beginning February 1st, we will look to repeat this performance, ending triumphantly on Super Bowl Sunday.  PLEASE, if you have not already, consider donating!
