We are currently in the post-production phase of our short film tentatively titled On Parole.  We have been able to shoot the entire film, which has been incredibly successful.  All that is missing is enough capital to continue this success in order to complete the editing and post-production process so that we can enter the film into film festivals around the country and get distribution.

The film, a light-hearted comedy, is about a young man, Charlie, who has been released from prison on parole. He soon discovers that the hardest part of post-prison life is finding a female companion. With help from his parole officer, Charlie learns that he might have been looking for answers in the wrong places.

Contributing money to an independent film is most often a means to bigger and better things. A film like Pink Flamingos, which was shot for $12,000, ended up grossing well over $10,000,000. Of course, that was a feature film, but money can go a very long way. All money will go to equipment and production costs. Our overall goal is $10,000. All contributions are fully tax-deductible, and of course, no donation is too small. All those who contribute to the project will receive a Special Thanks in the credits.

We are also extremely lucky to have actor TJ Miller from ABC’s Carpoolers and the upcoming FOX film Cloverfield to star in the project. He brings an incredible amount of talent as well as name-recognition to the film. TJ will be a prime factor in getting On Parole exposure and widespread distribution.

Once again, we have a lot of hope for this film. A lot of time, energy, and thankfully, talent, has gone into this project.
